The excitement of the World Cup isn’t limited to the PRO Match!
Breaking barriers of age, gender, and nationality, the TRINCA Match brought together “dream teams” that truly embody the diversity and fun of frescobol. The event was a huge success, with spectators exclaiming, “I’ve always wanted to see a lineup like this!” Teams exceeded expectations with their creative compositions, energizing the entire venue. Here, we introduce the players who achieved outstanding results!

Men’s Category Winners

Men’s Champions: Yoshihiro Matsui × Katsuki Nakano × Bruno Santos – 1,859 pts

The winning team combined Japanese players Matsui and Nakano with Bruno from Portugal!

With powerful attacks and reliable defense, this international trio delivered seamless rallies. Their quick transitions and high-speed plays toward the end of the match thrilled the audience. With only six missed catches, the team demonstrated exceptional balance and coordination, securing a well-deserved victory.

Men’s Runner-Up: Yasuo Igarashi × Hugo Chaves × Naoya Kishida – 1,747 pts

The runner-up team included Dutch player Hugo alongside Igarashi and Kishida.

They led from the start with strong attacks and stable defense. Smooth transitions and even faster, high-tempo rallies after the break showcased their teamwork, impressing the audience with their international collaboration.

Men’s 3rd Place: Sho Yamashita × Kosuke Takatsu × Ryota Yamatochi – 1,639 pts

Formed by players from Akashi and Zushi, this team executed calm, precise attacks and solid defense. They raised the tempo after breaks, maximizing focus and synergy. Despite 7 missed catches, they claimed a proud 3rd place.

Women’s Champions: Chikako Kazami × Saki Toma × Yuki Miyama – 1,625 pts

The GVK team of Kazami, Miyama, and Toma impressed with their long-standing synergy.

They played fast-paced rallies from the start, with smooth recoveries after missed balls. Their strong coordination, stable defense, and quick adaptability kept the rhythm intact. Raising the tempo toward the end, they captivated the crowd and secured a well-deserved victory.

Women’s Runner-Up: Mion Akatsuka × Maya Ochiai × Nanami Hara – 1,318 pts

This SKFC trio thrilled the audience with balanced attacks and smooth positioning. After the break, they increased their tempo and maintained calm, precise defense, demonstrating a winning mindset while having fun.

Women’s 3rd Place: Naoko Ishida × Yukako Shinkai × Yumeka Miyashita – 1,248 pts

This Kansai-based team maintained consistency with fast, careful rallies. Their strong communication and precise returns, combined with flexible adjustments to a left-handed player, earned them a solid 3rd place.

Mixed Champions: Naoya Kishida × Nanami Hara × Daiki Shinjo – 1,662 pts

A powerhouse team from Kansai and Kanto, Kishida, Hara, and Shinjo delivered strong yet precise rallies. Quick reactions and cohesive teamwork minimized missed catches. Their smooth transitions, fast restarts, and persistent rallies thrilled the audience, achieving a triumphant victory after last year’s 4th-place finish.

Mixed Runner-Up: Ryota Yamatochi × Maya Ochiai × Chikako Kazami – 1,582 pts

This Japanese national team trio impressed with stable, skillful rallies even under light rain. They maintained minimal missed catches and a high tempo throughout, showcasing top-level consistency and calm performance to claim 2nd place.

Mixed 3rd Place: Kazuya Takeda × Yuki Miyama × Gen Hirayama – 1,567 pts

The experienced GVK team displayed calm, balanced rallies. Their quick reactions and improved tempo after breaks demonstrated growth, earning them a proud 3rd place.

Dressed in Brazilian-flag-inspired uniforms with face paint, this team brought the crowd to life. Their colorful style respected frescobol’s Brazilian roots and the international spirit of the event, earning them the Fashion Award.
