The encounter with Frescoball was a suf shop in Sao Paulo.

In 2013, I visited several times to Brazil for work. I interested have been courious to  Beach Culture in Brasil oliginally, so I used to research to a surf shop and beach for research when I had time, when I stayed in Brazil.

one day I stayed in Brazil, I went to a surf shop in Sao Paulo. Then, I found a racket that I  had never seen. I questioned to a clerk without thinkining, “What’s is that racket?”. He answered “This racket is for Frescoball playing on the beach”.

After I left the shop, I researched into Frescobol. Then I realized that Frescoball has not been known to japanese, and no information in Japan.  Intuitively I thought that this beach sport would become famous in Japan, so I bought a lot of rackets and balls, then went back to Japan with  passion that making it become becoming famous Frescoball in japan.

Then I founded Japan FrescoBall Asosiation(JBFA) to promote frescobol in my country. I have run beachside shop and opereate our mission during summer on Miura Beach where is located in Kanagwa. Now we promote and spread Frescobol to not only Japan but also East Asia as “New Beach Sport From Brazl”.

My mission is to host Frescobol World Cup in Japan.
